Short answer: there are five kinds of countertop visualizer, and the right one depends on whose catalog you need to show and who will use it.
- Manufacturer visualizers (Cambria, Caesarstone, MSI and others) show one brand's colors and are aimed at homeowners.
- Roomvo is a visualizer platform that manufacturers, retailers and distributors embed across many product categories.
- SlabWise bundles a kitchen visualizer with nesting, quoting and DXF tools for fabricators.
- AI photo apps such as CountertopSwap restyle a kitchen photo with generic materials.
- Countertop Visualizer is a sales tool that shows your catalog on the buyer's kitchen, under your name.
Every competitor fact below comes from that company's public page on 2026-10-27. Products change, so check before you buy. We make Countertop Visualizer, so weigh what we say about ourselves accordingly. We've tried to describe everyone else as their own pages do.

Manufacturer visualizers
These run on each brand's public website and are made for people choosing that brand's colors.
- Cambria Room Visualizer: "Upload photos of your space, or use one of ours," then "apply Cambria quartz designs to your kitchen or bath." Cambria also notes that "lighting, objects, and angles in your space may affect uploaded room results" (Cambria).
- Caesarstone Visualizer: "Upload your room photo to see our surfaces come to life," or "view our surfaces in any one of our demo rooms" (Caesarstone).
- MSI Multi-Surface Visualizer: "Upload your own room scene or try one of our demo rooms instead," covering "flooring, countertops, and backsplash/wall applications" (MSI).
Good for: homeowners who already lean toward a brand, and showroom staff answering "what does this color look like in a kitchen?" for that brand. Limits for a fabricator: each shows its own brand only, so you can't put a quartz from one brand next to a granite from your yard on the same photo, and the experience carries their brand, not yours.
Roomvo
Roomvo describes itself as a "room visualization platform" that "makes it easy for your shoppers to engage with your products," with options for manufacturers, retailers and distributors. Countertops are one of its listed categories. Pricing isn't published ("Book a demo"), and it mentions a "Free visualizer for independent retailers" (Roomvo).
Good for: companies that sell several product categories (flooring, tile, countertops) and want one visualizer on their website. Things to ask: whether it works with a fabricator's natural stone inventory, how slabs get into it, and the price for your situation.
SlabWise
SlabWise's visualizer page says: "Upload a photo of your kitchen and see how different countertop materials will look. Compare up to 4 materials side-by-side." The site describes SlabWise as "Nesting, quoting, and DXF tools for countertop fabricators" (SlabWise visualizer). Its pricing page lists Starter at $99/mo, Pro at $299/mo and Enterprise at $799/mo, with "Start any plan for just $1. Full access for 14 days" (SlabWise pricing). The pricing page doesn't say which plans include the visualizer.
Good for: shops that want nesting, quoting and DXF from one vendor and a visualizer in the same place. Things to ask: which plan includes the visualizer, and whether it uses your own slab catalog and branding. Neither was stated on the pages we checked.
AI photo apps
CountertopSwap says: "Upload a photo of your kitchen and instantly preview beautiful new countertop colors." It's "built for homeowners and pros," it covers material types such as quartz, granite, quartzite, marble and porcelain, and "your first countertop preview is completely free" (CountertopSwap). Other general AI room-redesign apps work in a similar way.
Good for: homeowners exploring styles before they've picked a supplier. Limits for a fabricator: the materials are generic types, not the specific colors you stock. A buyer may fall for a look you can't source.
Countertop Visualizer
Countertop Visualizer is built for fabricators, showrooms and stone distributors.
- Your catalog: pick a name and subdomain for your sales portal, then paste your website URL. The tool pulls in your logo, colors and slab catalog, and you confirm them.
- The buyer's kitchen: photograph it, tap a slab, and see it on their counters in about 20 seconds. Then try another.
- Your name on it: share the visualization with the salesperson's name on it.
- Any device: it runs in the browser, in the showroom or on in-home visits.
- Price: 7 days free, then $250/month.
What it doesn't do: it doesn't do slab layout, nesting, quoting, measurement or cut files (see why those are different tools). And it doesn't replace samples or seeing the actual slab (visualizer vs samples).
How to choose
- Whose stones do you need to show? One brand → that brand's own visualizer may be enough. Several brands plus natural stone → you need a tool that takes your catalog.
- Who uses it? A homeowner browsing alone, or your salesperson with the buyer?
- Whose name is on the result? If the buyer shares the image, it should lead back to you.
- What else do you need from the same vendor? If you want nesting and quoting together, a bundle may be simpler. If you already have shop software, you may only need the sales piece.
- Is the price clear? Get the total for your setup in writing before signing.
